We have our next Talk and Sign BSL session on Zoom on Monday from 7pm-8pm. We will be practicing our signs for food and drink! Please note that this is a practice session, not a certified BSL course, if you are interested in polishing up those rusty BSL skills, then this is the group for you!

On Wednesday we will be welcoming back our Art Group for a socially distanced session at the Centre. The group meets from 1pm-3pm and costs £5. We do a range of different arts and crafts projects, this week we will be working on wooden and wire fish!

Friday is always our busiest day! This week we have an exciting new project starting to take shape with RNIB Scotland; a new tree for our garden and a time capsule! We are meeting with a small focus group on Friday at 11am to discuss what kinds of things they would like in the capsule. More information to come on the project very soon!
Remember that our The Braveheart Association Walk meets at the Sensory Garden every Friday at 11.30am. This is a leisurely walk around the local area that usually lasts 45-60 minutes. Why not pop down for a stroll then treat yourself to some tea and cake in our café?

We also have our latest music quiz with RNIB Connect – Scotland taking place on Teams at 2pm. Come along and test your musical knowledge! Phone in is also available for this group.

Lastly, but certainly not least, we have our Youth Group meeting at the centre from 7pm-8.30pm. We will be continuing on with our painting of stones this week out in the Garden. We are working in partnership with Falkirk – Community Learning & Development, bringing you a range of different activities. This group is open to 12-18 year olds with sensory loss.

If you are interested in any of our groups or would like more information please contact Linsey at linseystocks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org

Have a good week!
