Carers Trust Scotland is the largest provider of comprehensive carers support services in Scotland, reaching around 30,000 adult carers and 2,400 young carers from all groups and communities, through a unique network of independent carers centres and young carers services throughout Scotland.
The Carers Centre provides information and support to carers of all ages living in Falkirk district and Clackmannanshire. The organisation seeks to ensure that carers of all ages in Falkirk district and Clackmannanshire are recognised, valued, receive the information and support they need to allow them to care with confidence and in good health, and are empowered to have a life of their own outside caring.

Deaf Action is a deaf-led charity that has been working for an equal and better future for Deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people since 1835.
Dementia Toolkit - British Deaf Association
The 'Transforming the Deaf Dementia Experience' Project, is a community interest initiative that supports Deaf people living with dementia and their carers. The project aims to promote a better understanding of dementia by developing accessible resources, information, and toolkits in British Sign Language (BSL).

Disability Information Scotland
We provide reliable, accurate and accessible information throughout Scotland. We develop creative partnerships with other agencies to ensure information is widely distributed, accessible to all and has a positive impact on the lives of disabled people, their families, friends and carers and the people who work with them. We work with people to find out what information they need and how they would like it provided.

Forth Valley Health and Social Care Integration

Haggeye is a project that works across Scotland to bring together young people aged 12 to 25 years old living with sight loss. Haggeye aims to make a difference by campaigning for accessible services, facilities and opportunities, both locally and nationally.
Hearing Link Scotland is a registered charity in Scotland and a part of Hearing Link UK. We are a team of staff and volunteers based at a national office in Edinburgh, who work to improve quality of life for people with an acquired hearing loss in Scotland, as well supporting partners, family and friends.
Hearing Impairment Network for Children & Young People
HINCYP aims to improve the care for children and young people with a hearing impairment. HINCYP involves professionals working in health, education and social work, parents/carers of children and young people with a hearing impairment and voluntary sector organisations.
The Forth Valley Talking Newspaper Association (FVTNA) is Falkirk’s own Talking Newspaper for the blind and visually impaired. FVTNA is known to our Listeners as Newsline. This Scottish registered charity was established in November 1981 to provide a weekly audio recording of the Falkirk Herald to those who struggle to read the local newspaper.

PLUS is a registered charity that supports children and young people with disabilities, to have access to social, leisure and recreational opportunities and activities, across Forth Valley. PLUS was established in 1988 by parents who believed that children with disabilities had as much right as anyone else to an ordinary social life.
Through a network of eight branches and offices; including Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Hamilton, Airdrie and Ayrshire, our specialist advisors work with disabled people to understand their career aspirations and specific development needs. This enables us to create personalised support plans and equip individuals with the right skills to move into sustainable employment.

RNIB Scotland works on behalf of 180,000 people in Scotland with sight loss. We deliver services our members need and campaign for their civil and welfare rights. We support children, young people and adults with sight loss to live full and independent lives, and work with others to help minimise preventable sight loss.

Sight Scotland Veterans (formerly Scottish War Blinded) provides a free service supporting individuals in Scotland who at some point in their lives have served in the armed forces and currently live with a visual impairment. Members’ sight loss does not have to have occurred during or as a result of time spent in the armed forces.
Scottish Council on Deafness (SCoD)
Now named Deaf Scotland (new website under construction), SCoD is the lead organisation for deaf issues in Scotland. They aim to ensure that deaf people in Scotland can access services and information across all sectors of society from their local communities to what comes from government departments.
