A lovely day for a cheerful (socially distanced) send off for Alison and David! A few staff from the Centre and Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership Sensory Services were able to hand over a wee gift and card as both move on to new things.
David is staying within Falkirk Council and working in a care facility, having a good laugh with residents and enjoying his work. Alison is enjoying some well earned time off and the good weather and will be looking out for something to keep her occupied in the future.
Many of our Centre Users will know both Alison and David were “in with the bricks” at the Centre and will be much missed. It would have been great to have a big send off but with restrictions still in place, even at level 2, this just wasn’t possible at the moment but we know everyone will wish both of them every success and neither wants to be a stranger here!
Chief Executive, Jacquie Winning said: “These are two of the most ‘well kent faces’ in the Centre and while it is a shame that we couldn’t have a big send off, it was lovely to be able to hand over gifts and cards from all our staff and to pass on the best wishes of our Centre users.
“We are sure that both will be regular visitors to the Centre, either for groups or for a coffee so there will hopefully be a chance for Centre Users to catch up with both over the coming months!”
