Supporting Changing Places With FADAP

The Centre was delighted to welcome members of the Falkirk Area Disability Access Panel last week along with Pamiloo, the mobile changing area for disabled people. The visit was part of a a wider campaign for more Changing Places in the Falkirk area.

Local MSP Martyn Day attended to find out more about the Pamiloo and it was a great chance for the FADAP members to look over what is a very impressive facility.

Partnership Manager, Martin Allen said:

“The Pamiloo is a great idea, especially given the shortage of accessible changing places in the local area. Hopefully this is something we will be seeing much more of in Falkirk and across Forth Valley.”

You can find more information on FADAP and their campaigns on their Facebook page here.

You can read more about Pamiloo on the Pamis website (Promoting A More Inclusive Society) here.
