Welcome to our What’s On Guide for Forth Valley Sensory Centre, week commencing 31st May 2021! Yes, it is already the end of May!
On Tuesday we have our second meeting for our Tinnitus Peer Support group on Zoom from 12pm-1pm. This group is open to anyone who has tinnitus (often identified as a ringing or buzzing in the ears). We are also still looking to provide an evening session for people who are working and would find this more beneficial, please get in touch if you’d be interested in an evening group.
Friday the Braveheart Group will be leaving from the sensory garden at 11.30am as usual. This is a leisurely walk of 45-60 minutes around the local area. This group is open to everyone.
Also on Friday we have our Youth Group in-person session from 7pm-8.30pm. We are currently partnering up with Falkirk Community Learning and Development on some exciting new projects! This week we will be finishing off our painted stones so that we can start hiding them around the local area and the sensory garden very soon! This group is open to anyone aged 12-18 with a sensory loss.
As always if you’d like to join any of our groups or would like more information please contact Linsey at linseystocks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org
The other big thing this week, and spilling into nest, if Volunteers’ Week, celebrated from 1st – 7th June each year. You can read more about our plans for that right here.
