Spring 2018 Newsletter out now!

The first edition for the year, our Spring 2018 Newsletter is out now. You can get a physical copy here in the Centre or download the pdf from our newsletter page on here.

This Spring 2018 edition of the newsletter has lots of news and features not only from the Centre but also our partner organisations and friends like Falkirk Council, RNIB Scotland and National Deaf Children’s Society.

Of particular interest will be the new Knit and Natter Group which comes to Stirling on 13th April! Contact Brenda at the Centre for more information on that, as well as proposed changes to our Carers Group.

Braveheart have their next walks lined up for 23rd March and another in April so come along and support those! Our BSL Voices Off Cafe has proven extremely popular too, so much so we have had to move it from the cafe to one of the halls! There are other new groups and activities for people with either hearing or sight loss and several things for both, including David’s Personal Safety Class which starts on 6th April and is free to attend! Sign up quick though!

There is of course our regular feature from our sight loss tourist, Jim, who in this edition has been visiting nearby (compared to some of a far flung corners of Scotland he has visited) Broughty Ferry.

If you have any comments of things you want to see in our newsletter, or you would be interested in submitting an article which might be of interest to people with sensory loss across Forth Valley, get in contact with us!

Our Voices Off BSL Cafe on Wednesday morning has had to move to a hall already due to popularity! Ilustration for the Spring 2018 newsletter
