The National Theatre of Scotland has been running the LGBTQI+ Elders Social Dance Clubs since 2019. A chance for LGBTQI+ elders to come together, chat, dance and reminisce in a safe environment. To meet new friends and make new memories. These culminate in a spectacular online event on Sat 26 June, The Coming Back Out Ball. With live performance, dancing and chat, it promises to be a joyful evening of laughs, entertainment and celebration and they’d love to see as many members of the LGBTQI+ family in attendance as possible.

The event will be BSL interpreted, with interpretation across the event from Janice Murdoch, Yvonne Strain and Rebecca Goodall. The event is hosted by Deaf performer Jamie Rea and hearing performer Karen Dunbar. Audio Description will be provided by Dot Alma with live Captioning of the whole event from Laura Harrison and Éilis Murray.
