The New Year will see a number of groups and classes starting back or, starting up.
Watch on here and on our social media channels (search @FVSensoryCentre on Facebook or click this link to go to our page) for more updates but, fisrt off we have a New Year new you offer at the Sensory Centre!
January sees the launch of a new partnership with Forth Valley College offering a range of health and wellbeing treatments for men and women. The first session is on 12th January at 1pm and costs are just £5 per treatment (including Indian Head Massage and mini facials).
The 18+ Drop-in Group will be back on Monday, 9th January 7pm – 9pm while a new Deaf Community 18+ Drop-in Social Group will hold the first meeting on Monday, 16th January 7pm – 9pm. Both groups £1.00 with Café facilities, ICT Suite, meet old and new friends!
Play & Chat are back too. A recent addition to the Centre meeting every Thursday morning from 9:30am to 11am (previously forthnightly) to provide a place for parents who have a child with a sensory impairment to meet up and socialise. Children are welcome (including siblings) and they can play in a safe environment while the parents are able to relax over a cup of tea with like minded people. Cost is just £1.50 and there are loads of activities!
Finally, those who are artictic minded (or those who are just interested in finding our more) are minded that our workshop with Delta Art Studios takes place on 28th January.
The session is in association with Kiran’s Trust and Camelon Community Project, running from 2pm to 4:30pm the sessions will include Dance, Music, Poetry and Sculpture and is open to anyone over 18. The price is just £10 but places are limited. Please contact reception to reserve your place.
