Our regular Fundraising Group Meeting is now taking place on 18th September at 12:30pm. This is open to Centre Users and also, the wider public – We’d love more people to get involved with generating ideas, raising funds, planning events and generally helping us gain donations and sponsors from across Forth Valley.
The group meets 11 times per year, (taking a month off in July) and is friendly and welcoming. A great step for someone interested in fundraising, event planning or looking for something interesting to include on their CV which will have delivered proven benefits.
This next meeting will see us start to review the year to date, and plan for the next 12 months. Plus, we have a lot of events still to come, including our Afternoon Tea event, it’s 8th October, 1-4pm, cost is £15 per person. This is always a popular event with fantastic food and a ladies fashion show, a perfect afternoon treat with friends or family.
The Centre is taking part in this year’s Edinburgh Kilt Walk on 17th September. All walks start inside Murrayfield Stadium and any money raised will be topped up by The Hunter Foundation. A great chance to fundraise for the Centre and enjoy a fantastic event. To register click here
We also have a pop-up restaurant planned on 21st September, firewalking and a Halloween event in October and our winter dine and disco will be in November, not to mention our annual Wintre Fayre.
All these events are for the benefit of our Centre and its users. The Fundraising Group is designed to focus on the priorities and needs of those who attend the Centre and raise funds in innovative and fun ways.
