David Black on the BBC

Our cook and resident ninja David Black is on the BBC New website again demonstrating his personal safety skills.

The class, which runs each Friday at 2pm, is designed to help anyone, whether they have a sensory impairment or not, learn how to be more confident and deal with threatening situations.

Developed in conjuction with Alan Bell at The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety, the course takes place in an eight week block and is delivered by David, Alan and Michael, who also have a visual impairment.

You can watch the video on the BBC site here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/disability-40193639/one-blind-man-s-self-defence-crusade

Don’t forget, we can only put on these classes through your support. See how to donate to the Centre on our donation page here. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Twitter pages for all the latest information too!
