What’s on 15-19th March

Monday 15th we have our Talk and Sign Social group at 7pm-8pm on Zoom. We will be having a quick warm up session with David Black to start us off, then Climate Challenge Project Manager Kirsty will be talking to us all things Carbon Footprint! An interpreter is available.

Tuesday 16th our Book Group is back! On Zoom at 10am-11am, we are chatting about Adam Kay’s ‘This is Going to Hurt’, keep your eyes peeled on social media and our website for our thoughts! Our next book after this will be ‘Always Somewhere Else’ by Alex Gray. Our books are from RNIB talking books, memory sticks are available to be sent out. Group is open to anyone who would like to join. Phone in is available.

Wednesday 17th we have our History Group. We have invited Kate Stephenson from The National Trust for Scotland back to talk to us about the Gladstone Land Project! This is on zoom at 11am-12pm, phone in is available. An interpreter is available.

On Wednesday also look our for our next Live with Laura Podcast, we have invited Jon Attenborough to chat to us about his work, his guitar playing, his social media fame, and of course some of his favourite music!

Thursday we have our Bitesize fitness video with David Black and The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety, these are gentle martial arts style fitness techniques suitable for all ages and fitness levels!

Friday we have our weekly news podcast! We have temporarily taken over from Newsline in this endeavour whilst they are closed due to covid-19. This is available through soundcloud or we can arrange to send out a memory stick if you would rather.
