It was wonderful to see our Talk and Sign group in person on Saturday. We managed a nice catch up before a very wet walk in the rain! We are also planning on another few in person outdoor events across the summer, check out our FVSC Talk and Sign page on Facebook for more information.
On Wednesday this week our art tutor is offering a trial session for anyone who is interested in joining our Art Group. This session will run from 1.15pm-3.15pm and we will be working with clay. Cost is £5.
Thursday and Friday sees the return of our Youth Group with Falkirk – Community Learning & Development from 11am-2pm. On Thursday we will be at the centre where we will be working on our Dynamic Youth Award and doing some planting. On Friday we will be going to Falkirk Community Trust’s Callendar House for a Circus workshop! This group is open to 10-18 year olds, you don’t have to have attended any of the previous sessions to come along. This group is free and lunch is included.
Also on Friday, our Time capsule/Tree planting focus group will be meeting at 11am on Teams. We will be having a chat about final tree choices, and deciding what will definitely be going in the time capsule. We plan on the planting taking place at the end of August/beginning of September so keep a look out for more information coming soon!
Friday our usual The Braveheart Association walk will leave from the Sensory Garden at 11.30am. This is a leisurely walk around the local area that typically lasts 45-60 minutes. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
