It’s a public holiday this Monday, hopefully no one is feeling worse for wear after all those Easter Eggs yesterday! Never fear, we have a range of activities available this week.
On Tuesday look out for our latest cookery video with Linsey showing us a recipe for Easter cupcakes, yum! If there are any recipes you’d be interested in us covering please let us know.
Wednesday our history group will be meeting on Zoom at 11am. We are having a talk from Greig Gibson on local railways! Phone in is available and an interpreter is also provided for this group.
Thursday we will have our latest Bitesize Fitness session with David Black and The Scottish centre for personal safety.
Also on Thursday, Caroline will be hosting our next Volunteer Zoom, we will be having an Easter themed extravaganza, including playing Scattegories! If you volunteer with us and would be interested in coming along please get in touch with Caroline at carolinestorey@forthvalleysensorycentre.org.
Friday the braveheart association will be having their walk leaving from the Sensory Garden at 11.30am. Please note that Braveheart can only currently take on walkers already registered with them. If you would like to join the waitlist for when they can take on new walkers please contact Linsey at the information below.
Also on Friday will be the latest news podcast featuring articles from the Falkirk Herald. We have temporarily taken over from Newsline with this during the pandemic, if you would like to receive this in memory stick format please let us know.
If you would like any information on any of our groups and activities or if you would like to make a suggestion, please get in touch with our group co-ordinator Linsey at linseystocks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org.
