Our Choir will be back on Monday from 10.30am-12pm, we are working on our Christmas repertoire for our upcoming show in December at Morrisons Falkirk. We are currently still accepting new members and the group costs £5 led by the fabulously talented Aimee Toshney.
The Knit and Natter group will be meeting for their usual fortnightly session in the halls from 1pm-3pm. If knitting, crochet, or even just having a blether is your cup of tea then this is the group for you! Refreshments can be provided by café.
Also this evening, Voices Off will be back from 6.30pm-7.30pm for another session of conversational BSL. This is not a qualification but a chance to learn some basic BSL or brush up on your skills. The Book Group will be meeting on Tuesday to discuss their latest read; Last Letter to Juliet by Melanie Hudson. This group meets in a hybrid of in-person and online via zoom and gets their books from RNIB talking books. There is no cost for this group. Our next book will be The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
The IT Classes will be back with Tom Paterson on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week, from 1pm-3pm, and an additional 3pm-5pm slot on Tuesdays. Please note that numbers are limited for these classes so please contact Linsey for availability. These classes aim to boost confidence in using PC’s and Tablets and their accessibility features. Classes cost £5.
Sara has her Energy Redress Drop-in session on Wednesday from 10am-1pm, this is open to anyone who would like to learn more about climate challenge and what this means, or if you’d like advice on ways you can save energy or help with your bills. The BSL OAP group will also be meeting for their weekly session on Wednesday from 12.30pm-2.30pm.
Slimming World will also be back on Wednesday, running from 5pm-7pm. Please contact your local Slimming World rep for more information.
The Braveheart Association will be meeting for their weekly walk from the Sensory Garden at 11.30am. This is a leisurely walk around the local area that lasts 40-60 minutes and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Also on Friday evening the Deaf Club will be meeting in the halls from 7pm-10pm.
On Friday our Youth Group will be meeting again at their new earlier time of 6pm-7.15pm, we’ll be welcoming Camelon Arts to work on making some pieces for their Winter Poster. This group does a range of activities, from arts and crafts, outdoor games, Nintendo Switch, card games and much more!
