What’s On February 2024. 

A guide to what’s coming up for the month of February 2024. We have a range of different activities available for all ages.

Week Beginning 5th February

Monday:

Lip Reading Peer Support Group, 11am-1pm. Free.

Lip Reading Class, 4pm-6pm. With Jill Brashaw. Free. Open to new interest.

Voices Off (British Sign Language), 6.30pm-7.30pm. Free. Open to all. Beginners welcome.

Tuesday:

IT Class, 1pm-3pm & 3pm-5pm. With Tom Paterson. £5.

Craft Group (mental health & wellbeing group), 2pm-4pm. Free. Bring your own crafting and come along for a blether! New interest welcome.

Wednesday:

Tinnitus Awareness Information Day, 9am-4pm. Various information and workshops throughout the day. Run by NHS.

Art Group, 1.15pm-3.15pm. With Val Martin. £5. No spaces at present.

Toe Girls Toe-nail cutting service, 9am-12pm. Please contact directly regarding appointments on 07563249051. We DO NOT take bookings or deal with cancellations.

Braveheart Walk, 11.30am-12.30pm. Leisurely walk around the local area. Free. Open to all. Sighted Guides available.

Youth Group, 7-13 year olds. Earlier session this week as we will be at Innoflate. We will leave the centre at 2.30pm on the Minibus, and return approximately 5pm.

Deaf Club, 7pm-10pm.

Knit and Natter, 1pm-3pm. Free. Refreshments can be purchased from the cafe. £5 for transport if required.

Youth Group (additional session) 7-13 year olds, 2pm-4pm. Dance session & pancake making. Free.

Cybersecurity & Scam Awareness Workshop, 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm. Free. With Tom Paterson.

History Group, 10.30am-12pm. Free. National Museums Scotland will be joining us for a talk & handling session.

BSL OAP Group, 12.30pm-2.30pm. Free to come along and chat, £5 for Bingo. BDA will be paying a visit for today’s session.
