The Scottish Council of Jewish Communities (ScoJeC) will be hosting an event at Sauchie Hall, Mar Pl, Sauchie, Alloa FK10 3EA, on Wednesday 21 December, 6.30pm – 9pm, to celebrate Chanukah (Hanukkah), the Jewish Festival of Light.
Israeli artists, Roi Carmeli and Tom Krasny will be running a ‘Chanukah lino-printing’ workshop, suitable for both adults and children. The event is free and open to the public. Along with the art element of the evening, participant will enjoy inspiring storytelling about Chanukah, a candle lighting ceremony, as well as a delicious kosher buffet featuring latkes and donuts specifically to celebrate Chanukah.
