Safe Travel Meeting with First Bus

First Bus are one of Scotland’s largest public transport operators and Larbert Depot Manager, Jim Brennan will be coming into the Centre to talk about safe travel across Forth Valley on 24th May.

This is an open meeting and a chance for Centre Users and interested parties to come along  at 11am and find out what First Bus are doing locally and their future plans.

You will also find out about the safe journey cards and have a chance to find out what kind of training drivers have for people with sensory needs.

Partnership Manager Martin Allen said:

“Getting around safely is one of the key concerns for our Centre Users. Those with a visual impairment especially, rely on public transport so we are delighted to have Jim along to speak at the Centre.

“This is a great chance to put forward any concerns, ask any burning questions and perhaps find out a few things about the local bus services that you didn’t actually know.”

The event is free and begins at 11am on 24th May. It is scheduled to last for an hour so please, come along, meet Jim, (who has been with the company since the Midland Bluebird Days!) and put your thoughts forward.
