Ready Player everyone? A new accessible gaming group for young people with a sensory loss boots up for the first time on 8th October at 7:30pm.
This new group provides a great chance to meet new people for anyone who wants to make the ‘Switch’ from online to playing in a fun, group environment.
The gaming group will be playing online and offline games and has two Nintendo switches to play with on our large projector screen and a number of other offline games. The aim is simply to have fun and meet other likeminded people.
The group has been requested by members of the existing youth group which meets on Fridays with the members keen to continue to have different fun things to do.
Organised by Activities Coordinator Linsey Stocks, the new group promises fun, flights of fantasy and lots of competition.

The group also has two Occulus VR headsets to bring a new dimension to gaming for some people. Our very own Tiny Tablet will also be available so we anticipate some epic air hockey battles!
Triple Tap Tech will also be on hand to provide more information on accessibility and help people get the most out of their gaming. There will be some fun competitions and Triple Tap Tech have also said there could be the possibility of our group members having their own portion of the website to post reviews and information. Your first step towards streaming reviews!
If you fancy yourself as the next Super Mario champion or even if you’d just like to know more about accessible gaming, contact linseystocks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org today!
