The Centre has teamed up with Delta Art Studios to offer a fantastic Art Workshop in January.
Taking place on Saturday 28th January, from 2pm the ‘See You – Are You Listening To Me?’ workshop is designed to be a fun, interactive and inclusive event featuring music, dance, poetry and sculpture amongst other activities.
Delta Art Studios have been working with the Centre for some time with a number of Centre Users visiting their space in Larbert over the past few months. Feedback has been tremendously positive which is why this event has been organised.
Centre Manager, Jacquie Winning said:
“Art is a great form of therapy and a leveller for everyone. Art can be enjoyed and created by young and old, by blind and partially sighted people or by those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
“The workshops at Delta have been given great reviews so now we are bringing that experience into the Centre. There has already been plenty of interest so I would advise all those who are interested, to book early.”
The session takes place from 2pm-4:30pm and is open to Centre Users, Carers and the wider public. A BSL interpreter will be available.
Tickets are just £10, representing a real saving on any similar experience available elsewhere and light refreshments will be served. The event is being supported by the Camelon Community Trust and by Kirans Trust and the Centre is grateful for their help.
