Want to join us on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2019? We are looking for Kiltwalkers to take part and raise money for vulnerable people across Forth Valley!
Traditionally a big fun event, the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2019 takes place on 15th September and you can opt to do one of three different distances; from the Wee Wander at 5 miles, to the Big Stroll at 14.5 miles or the Mighty Stride at 24 miles but covering some fantastic scenery around Scotland’s capital city.
Speaking of scenery, there is no excuse for not wanting to get some training in, Falkirk has just been voted the best place to walk in the UK following a vote by The Rambler’s Society!
Amazing news but with miles of canal paths to follow from The Helix to The Kelpies or many of the other interesting places along the way. There are lots of great ways to get out and about. Plus you’ll feel even better about exercising when you raise money for our charity as The Hunter Foundation, will top up all your sponsor money by 40 per cent! That means if you raise £100, we recive £140. An amazing way to give.
All you need to do is let us know you want to do the walk and commit to raising a minimum of £60. In return, we will pay your entry fees and give you one of our snazzy Forth Valley Sensory Centre t-shirts so everyone will know what a top person you are!
Join RambleTag at the Einburgh Kiltwalk 2019
We had a great team take part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk earlier this year. Be Kiltwalk heroes like Blake, Gavin and Jennifer! Our Centre staff and volunteers have taken part in Edinburgh before too and you can be assured it’s a top event. This year, you will be in good company as ‘Team RambleTag’ Tom and Laura, are also doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2019 on behalf of the Centre.
It would be great to have more people with sight loss like Tom, walking for us and RambleTag has the perfect guidance aid for the Kiltwalk, a tartan RambleTag!
