Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) are regular visitors to our Centre and fight hard for the rights of people with a sensory condition across the Central Belt.
You can read the latest edition of their newsletter here (in PDF format) which includes a number of items about our Centre.
The first is our Carer’s Project which gets started this week (2nd February) aimed at people who care for those who have some form of a sensory problem, even if it is still being diagnosed or is part of a different condition (such as Diabetes).
The second item is a awareness session on human trafficking and emploitative employment practises. This is a very topical subject and while it isn’t aimed directly at sensory people, it may be useful to employers and employes alike in helping combat unfair working in our area.
