Christmas Covid Update

Forth Valley Sensory Centre will be closed for Christmas from 1pm on 24th December.

We would like to wish all our Centre Users, volunteers and supporters, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We realise that this year has been difficult and with the latest Covid-19 announcements, we are sad to say that while the Centre team will be back on 5th January 2021, it will be in a virtual capacity and a number of our planned activities have had to be cancelled.

The Cafe will also remain closed until restrictions are lifted and it is safe to reopen. At present, we do not know exactly when that will be. Keep an eye on our website and our social media pages Twitter and facebook for the latest updates.

We are pleased to say that all is not lost however! We had and still do have, a number of virtual groups and activities in the New Year.

Monday 11th January 2021 10am-11am—Covid Scams with Bryan Mackie from Police Scotland. This will be on Zoom with phone in available.

Tuesday 19th January 2021 10am-11am—Book group, we will be discussing The Woman in the Wood by Lesley Pearse before we move onto Corrag.

Wednesday 20th January 10.30am-11.30am—History Group with the Bannockburn Heritage Centre. An interpreter will be provided.

Friday 29th January —Music Quiz with RNIB Scotland. 2pm-3pm.
We will also see the return of the Talk and Sign Group, Art Group, Craft Group, Braille Group, and the The Braveheart Association. Our cookery and bitesize fitness videos will return in the New Year too!
