BSL Covid-19 Updates

Access to information right now is even more important than ever. With new rules in place to keep everyone safe and regular changes to how businesses need to operate British Deaf Association is making sure Deaf people have regular updates in sign language.

You can access all the Covid-19 videos on their website here Coronavirus - COVID-19 - British Deaf Association (bda.org.uk)

As well as making sure Deaf people have access to the latest information, they are also continuing with their 'BSL Blethers' meetings.

The last one seemed to be lots of fun and the next takes place tomorrow, 19th January. Check out the BDA Facebook page for more information on this and future BSL Blethers sessions BSL Blethers - Tuesday 19th January (facebook.com)

Remember, we also have lots of activities for Deaf, hard of hearing, Blind and partially sighted people.

Most of our social events cover all types of sensory loss and we have BSL interpreters available. For example we have a Covid-19 scams warning session with Police Scotland on 25th January. Energy Saving advice with our Green Cafe on 27th January and even a brand new Tinnitus Support Group starting 29th January so there is loads going on and we make everything as accessible as possible.

If there is something you would like us to do that we don't already, please let us know. You can contact us through email sensory@forthvalleysensorycentre.org or by sending us a message on Facebook or Twitter.
