What’s on at FVSC this week:

On Tuesday The Braveheart Association are having an online coffee morning at 11am, if you are a member of our Braveheart Group and would like to join in please contact Group Leader Eva at eva.finlayson@nhs.net
Our next green café is on Wednesday 24th February from 11am-12pm. Kirsty will be leading the conversation on energy saving tips. If you know of anyone who would like to join the conversation please contact Kirsty at kirstybanks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org.

On Thursday look out for an all new Bitesize Fitness with David Black and The Scottish Centre for Personal Safety! We’ve missed the last couple of weeks, our apologies, but we will be back on track!

Friday look out for the usual weekly news podcast. We have taken over from Newsline at present, so if you know of anyone who had previously been receiving the weekly newsline podcast and has been feeling a bit lost without it then give us a shout.

Also coming up on Friday we have our monthly music quiz with RNIB on Friday in our usual slot of 2pm-3pm, if you’d like to flex your musical knowledge please get in touch. This takes place on teams with phone in available.

Also coming soon, starting on 1st March from 3pm we will be having our first Social Group Chat. This is a chance for anyone who would like to come along and have a blether, we know that many people are feeling more mentally affected than ever with this current lockdown so hopefully this will help relieve some of those isolated feelings. This will take place on zoom with phone in available.

Coming up on Friday 5th March, we will be hosting an online afternoon tea from 2pm-3pm, we even have the honour Pat Reid being our host! Cost is £12 per person, £15 if having it delivered, and we have 30 afternoon teas to offer. Get in touch with Martin for more information at martinallen@forthvalleysensorycentre.org.

We also have ‘Name the Caterpillar’ as you may have already seen on our Facebook page and Website. You can win the Caterpillar, just guess his name. Guesses cost £1 each and what we would like people to do is make a donation via our page at Givey, just set your donation amount to £1 and then comment here with your name. Feel free to comment as a BSL clip, finger spelling your guess too! The winner will be announced afternoon on 5th March. Good Luck! Access our Givey page here: www.givey.com/forthvalleysensorycentre

As always if you would like any information on our Groups or would like to join, please contact Linsey at linseystocks@forthvalleysensorycentre.org.
