Forth Valley Sensory Centre is one of the ‘final five’ charities shortlisted to be the Central FM Charity of the Year. Please cast your vote by 24th May!
The competition is fierce, we know that we are not the biggest charity there but, we believe for a smaller charity, this will make a huge impact because it is something that otherwise, we would never afford.
The winner will receive additional support on Central FM, allowing us to better promote activities like the RNIB Connect VIP Day and our fundraising events like the Afternoon Tea.
Your vote could make a big difference. We really need your support to try to win this great prize. The other charities are all very worthy and do great work but we’d please ask you to put us forward for the Central FM Charity of the Year because it will be such a help.
All our funding goes to the running of our Centre. We aren’t a medical Centre, we cannot improve people’s sight or hearing. Instead we offer groups, classes, activities and support to prevent people from becoming isolated and lonely which has a serious affect on mental health.
The Centre also offers support for physical health with Braveheart Walks and healthy cooking classes and self defence on offer. RNIB and Action Hearing Loss have resource areas with equipment to help people maintain their independence too.
You can vote for your Central FM Charity of the year here. Select Forth Valley Sensory from the drop down box. Thank You!
