Adaptive Cycling Falkirk Stadium

Get Out Get Active will have adaptive cycling sessions available from this Thursday (2nd May) at Falkirk Stadium.

Groups will run at various times between May and October. There are a range of solo and adaptive bikes, including electrically assisted trikes and traditional tandems.

The cost for the adaptive cycling sessions is just £3. Helmets are also provided. What’s more, carers and family members can come along for free!

These sessions are very popular and booking to ensure the right bike is available is needed. To do that, contact Eva at Get out Get Active Forth Valley on 01786 466486. Email goga@fvds.org.uk or see the Get out Get Active Forth Valley Facebook page here

With parking at the Centre very limited at present, remember we have a new cycle shelter and repair station for public use. We are also well served by public transport. Buses and trains stop right by the Centre.

For those who don’t want to cycle but would enjoy sampling the summer air, do remember the Braveheart Walk leaves Forth Valley Sensory Centre every Friday at 11:30am. Sighted Guides and Ramble Tag guidance aids are also available but the walk is open to anyone from the local community. Come along, make new friends and stay active. Plus reward yourself with a rest in our Cafe afterwards.
