Our Fundraising Group is vitalliy important to Forth Valley Sensory Centre. Not only does it arrange great social events but it also helps raise our profile in the community.
We do need new members though!
If you are aged between 18 and 180 and want to make a difference in your local community, get in touch! You might be retired and looking for a worthwhile cause to put your mind to. You could be a student or recently left school and interested in something to put on your CV or you might have a friend or family member that has benefitted from our services. No matter what the reason, we’d be glad to have you.
The more ideas and share of the work the lighter the load by far! The Fundraising Group meets monthly andarranges four to five social events a year. The first was a Dine in the Dark experince at the Park Hotel and other events have included a Halloween Disco and Prize Bingo Night.
Other ideas have included race nights or a quiz night but we really would like to have more events outside Forth Valley Sensory Centre and across the area, raising funds and most importantly, raising awareness of sensory loss and the support that is available.
