RNIB Connect and The Glasgow Speakers Club

Do you have a visual impairment and are aged between 18-30? Would you like to develop your public speaking skills?
Steven Sutherland (RNIB Connect) and The Glasgow Speakers Club have been working together to develop a public speaking course designed to build confidence in public speaking through professional training.

This course will run on Wednesday afternoons from 2pm-4pm from June to start of September 2018 in Glasgow.

We are looking for people to participate who have a keen interest in learning new skills through professional public speaking tutors.

Informal interviews for participants will take place on Friday 4th May and Tuesday 8th May 2018.

Course details:

Venue: Glasgow City Chambers, George Square, Glasgow
Dates: Wednesdays – 13th June, 20th June, 27th June, 4th July, 11th July, (summer break), 22nd August, 29th August with a final event in September
Time: 2pm-4pm each week

The course is free and fun and reasonable travel expenses will be paid. We look forward to hearing from you!

    1. Hi, you’ll need to email RNIB directly as this is their event rather than a Sensory Centre one. Sounds like a great course though so good luck!
