Centre users are busy making tiles as part of a mosaic for our new look sensory garden! A number of our groups and classes have already made theirs, including Knit and Natter, BSL Group and Carers Wellbeing Cafe.
The hope is to have the word welcome spelt out amongst the other images created by Centre users. We are working with community artist Brendan who has lots of experience working with our regular art class.
Brendan has been visiting each group, explaining the proceedures and giving help and advice. Inspiration has come from nature and from various books and resources, including the thoughts of Charles Rennie Mackintosh!
All those who have taken part so far have found it a very enjoyable process. Much more to come but do grab your opportunity while you can! We can’t wait to see the finished result.
