The Nurses Choir in NHS Forth Valley has raised over £400 for the Centre with a performance at Forth Valley Royal. Invited guests, hospital patients and visitors were treated to an hour long show in the hospital atrium which featured well loved tunes like Annie’s Song and Loch Lomond.
The Nurses Choir were also saying goodbye to Phillip Todd their Choirmaster who is leaving after three and a half years to pursue a career a filmaking. There was a tearful goodbye at the end for the person who has helped bring together one of the best choirs around whilst maintaining a huge fun element.
Centre Manager Jacquie Winning said:
“It was a great evening and an amazing performance. What a fantastic sound in the atrium at Forth valley Royal and huge turnout of very generous donors to see Phillip’s last performance as Choirmaster.
“We are very grateful for the invitation to take part in this and we hope that at some point in the near future, we can set up a joint singing session with our own Sensory Singers.
“Particular thanks to Lynn Waddell and Rita Ciccu-Moore for making this happen and supporting our Centre.”
