Losing your sight can lead to lots of questions, now a team of third sector organisations, including; RNIB, Guide Dogs, Visionary and Thomas Pocklington Trust have set up a website that tries to answer many of the common questions.
The website www.sightadvicefaq.org.uk has lots of advice on every day living, benefits and even counselling support no matter where you might be based.
Locally of course, Forth Valley Sensory Centre and our partners are here to help resolve many of these issues but this is a great resource for people who might not have had the benefit of visiting us yet or who are even more unfortunate not to live in Forth Valley!
The website is very clear and basic with high contrasting colours, perfect for those with little vision or who use screen readers. If you have a question that isn’t on the site, why not get in touch with us and we will see if we can find the answer for you?
