We are hosting our first Halloween Quiz on 29th October 2021 at the centre! Yes, a return to in person fun, the quiz takes place 7-10pm and includes food and party games too.
Hosted by Laura and Joe, the quiz takes place over two rounds and will be fully accessible to those with sight or hearing impairments. BSL support from our Volunteer Coordinator Hannah is also available on the night.
Tickets, which cost £10 for over 14s and £5 for 5-14 year olds are strictly limited as we have reduced the capacity of our halls in order to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
The event will include typical buffet food but served at the table, again for social distancing reason, and it is also Bring Your Own Bottle (BYOB) to prevent people having to get up and wander around too much!
There will be party games though, including a ‘guess the ingredients’ in our Witches’ Brew and other Halloween themed activities.
Fundraising Coordinator, Martin Allen said:
“We are really looking forward to having a fundraising event back here in the Centre. We have been very cautious in our approach, severely limiting space compared to our normal events but we are sure that the chance to meet up, have fun and maybe win a prize will be enough to provide a ‘spooktacular’ event!
“Huge thanks to Laura and Joe for taking the time to do the quiz. Laura will also be doing a small fundraiser to support her efforts to sponsor a new Guide Dog for another blind person to benefit from, you might just win a Guide Dog plush toy!”
To reserve your tickets email sensory@forthvalleysensorycentre.org or pop in and speak to our Welcome Desk… if you dare! Bwahahah hahar!
