With the closure of Newsline due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, our blind and partially sighted Centre Users have been missing out on Falkirk News in an accessible format.
Forth Valley Sensory Centre has been making podcasts of interesting articles from The Falkirk Herald each week.

We would always advocate that you support your local newspaper, now more than ever, do pick up copies when you are out for your essential shopping, reliable information should definitely be on that list or check out the website here for a selection of online stories.
Our podcast covers Falkirk News as well as some fun features and 'listener information' such as the obituaries column. The podcast was done by Jacquie and Martin and is not what you would describe as professional, but we aim to do this each week to make sure that people have access to the local news they need.
