Deaf Scotland and Braveheart have both released their latest newsletters this April and copies of both can be downloaded below.
These are two organisations that Forth Valley Sensory Centre has a close working relationship with. Under normal circumstances we would have a Braveheart Walk leave the Centre every week at 11:30am for a 45 minute ramble around the local area, followed by tea and cakes in our café.
Sadly that isn’t to be right now but you can access the Braveheart Spring Newsletter in PDF format here and look forward to the brighter days ahead. We are sure that being in lockdown has made lots of people appreciate the befits of getting out for a nice walk much more than they used to!
Deaf Scotland are continuing to campaign for better inclusion for deaf people through the ‘Communication for All’ campaign. There are updates on this and many other topics in the April Bulletin. Download the Deaf Scotland April newsletter in PDF format here.
Offers from Sight and Sound
One additional thing to mention, Sight and Sound Technology, a specialist equipment supplier for people with sensory loss, are running a Home User Promotion with some significant discounts. It’s a specific promotion they normally run during the summer but they have brought it forward so people can take advantage of it while they might not have access to their usual support. There really are big discounts (eg JAWS for £115.00). The discounted products can all be found at the following link: http://www.sightandsound.co.uk/offers.html?limit=all
Promotion ends 30th June.
