Digital Stories Screening 27th August

Over the past few months a number of our Centre Users have been telling their Digital Stories to videographer Sabine as part of the People’s Story Project. The completed clips are set for a public screening at Bo’ness Hippodrome on 27th August and the event is free!

As well as our Centre Users, a number of other people from across Falkirk have also taken part to tell their Digital Stories. The whole People’s Story Project is about inspirational and heart warming tales about real people and local communities. Some stories are funny, some are sad, some will leave you feeling better about the world we live in but all are poignant, well made and well worth seeing.

The People’s Story Project and subsequent Digital Stories were made possible by funding from The Scottish Goverment supported by Scottish Book Trust and locally by Falkirk Community Trust Libraries.

The public screening is free and doors at Bo’ness Hippodrome open at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. You can apply for up to five tickets here. Sabine Hellmann, who filmed and edited the stories will also be available for a Question and Answer Session on the night.

Stories are subtitled for people with hearing loss and there will be BSL translation available on the evening too.
