Financial Harm Conference 13th November at the Centre in conjunction with Falkirk Adult Protection Committee.
Starting at 2:30pm the Financial Harm Conference is for everyone interested in protecting their money and property.
Speakers, using real life examples and DVD’s, will explain different ways a person’s money can be “at risk”. They will give advice on protecting your money. There will be leaflets to take away and opportunities to ask questions.
There is no need to book an appointment. Come along, have a tea/coffee and learn a little more about how to keep you and your money safe.
Speakers include Police Scotland about online exploitation, Trading Standards about doorstep crime/scams etc. The agenda is:

4:00pm to 4:10pm – Key Learning & Close Ian Kinsley, APC Lead Officer
4:10pm to 4:30pm – Opportunity for all participants to visit “stalls” for further information and to collect leaflets on Financial Harm
Financial Harm is the second most common referral recieved by Falkirk Adult Protection which is the motivation behind the conference. It is being put together with Police Scotland, Clackmannanshire Council, Stirling Council, Falkirk Council, and NHS Forth Valley.
