The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) has a number of online cooking events planned for February. These will be fully accessible to deaf children and families with BSL interpreters provided.
The first session is aimed at Deaf children aged 8-14 while the second is a family event, for families with Deaf children age 8-14. See below for details and links for how to sign up. We are sure that there will be lots of interest in the pancake day event especially! What’s your favourite topping?
Become a mini Master Chef 14 to 18 February 4.30 to 6pm
Become a mini masterchef in a week! is a fun space for deaf young people to get to know each other while trying out new recipes. Sessions will run each day from Monday to Thursday with a different recipe to follow each day. Your child will work with a Deaf Chef to create fabulous dishes. On the last day your child will create and cook their own recipe to show off to everyone.
