We are delighted to be part of the new Stirling Community Lottery! This is your chance to win up to £25,000 and help out local good causes at the same time.
Managed by Stirling Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) the lottery is one of many community lotteries across the UK that allow small charities like ours to take part in a lottery that has the potential to benefit a large number of people.
You can buy your tickets online through our page Support Forth Valley Sensory Centre when you play Stirling Community Lottery – Stirling Community Lottery. Tickets are just £1!
The Centre receives 50 percent of your purchase (so 50p for every one pound spent) with a further 10 percent going into a central fund for good causes. That’s 60 percent of the ticket price going to charities in the Stirling area!
Draws take place weekly and for the first draw on 11th December, you can also win a Samsung Galaxy Tablet! Perfect in time for Christmas!
You can find out more about the Stirling Community Lottery as well as how the draws work, results and more on the dedicated page here www.stirlingcommunitylottery.scot
Fundraising Manager, Martin Allen said:
“This is something that as a small charity we would not have the resources to do ourselves so thank you to SVE for taking the initiative forward. Importantly, all the money raised through sales of tickets supporting Forth Valley Sensory Centre stays local and will go towards supporting our Stirling Blind and Partially Sighted Group.
“They have just started meeting again after being on hiatus since March 2020 and it is a fun, social group made up of people who like a bite to eat and a blether! We need meeting space, help with volunteer costs and even a wee tea and coffee fund. This money will help us contribute to all of that so as always, all donations make a real impact.”
For those who want to support the Centre but don’t want to play the lottery, don’t forget you can still donate directly via our Givey page. For more information on how we spend donations, the difference it can make and different ways to support the Centre as well as our Givey page, see our donation page here.
