Forth Valley Sensory Centre
After the rest of the world moved on several years ago, we are delighted to announce that we are now able to take card payments in our cafe!
We are using a SumUp card payment machine linked to an Apple iPad. This means we can now accept all forms of card payments, including chip and pin. You can even use your phone for contactless payments if you wish.
Cafe Supervisor, Carol Dawson said:
“The Cafe has become increasingly busy over the last twelve months, which is great to see. Clearly our reputation for a warm welcome and good food at a good price is getting around!
“However, we’ve never before been able to take card payments. This has put off some people who have just ‘popped in’ and quite rightly, expected to be able to use a card like they do everywhere else. It is great that we have resolved that situation and look forward to welcoming even more people to the Cafe!”
Cafe Tiki at Forth Valley Sensory Centre is open 8:45am to 4pm each day. The Cafe is amongst a select number in the Falkirk area to have been awarded Healthy Living status. The Cafe serves homemade soup, cakes and a daily special, typically priced between £3.50 and £4 and made fresh each day. It is open to the public so feel free to drop in for a bacon roll, a coffee or lunch!
