Jobs for Drivers
We are currently looking for drivers, either, using their own vehicle to help Centre Users with mobility issues get into our Centre or to our various groups and outings or driving our Minibus. Expenses are paid to own car users (you must have permission from your insurance company first, usually there is no charge for this but it keeps you legal!) and full training is given to minibus drivers. You need Category D1 on your driving license and we provide MIDAS training to ensure you can safely secure wheelchairs into our bus.
The driving role suits people who like a good chat, seeing the local area and want to make a positive difference to the life of someone with limited access to the outside world. A very rewarding role!

There are regular chill out nights featuring cafe, crafts, IT and music, plus occasional bowling and cinema outings, parties and a summer bbq. This is a great role for many people with daytime commitments as it is is one of the few evening groups that currently exist.
Originally founded as a group for former Carrongrange pupils, we are looking for new help and ideas to grow the group with a new set of school leavers in Autumn. If you think you can help, please get in touch. This group supports a fantastic bunch of people who really appreciate coming together in a social environment.
