Forth Valley Sensory Centre
New Year New Activity? Forth Valley Sensory Centre will be closing for Christmas on Monday 24th December. We will re-open on 3rd January in the New Year.
Many of our groups and classes have already finished for the year but don’t worry, they’ll all be back in 2019!
What about New Year New Activity? Why not try something new for 2019? If you already attend one of our groups or classes, why not find out what else is on offer? If you don’t and you have any form of sight or hearing loss, why don’t you give us a go?
If you really fancy a New Year New Activity challenge why not Try Curling at The Peak? There are regular classes for people with sight loss. The next takes place on 14th January, 3pm-4pm. The cost is £4 and transport from the Centre can be arranged. Contact Brenda to register your interest. On 22nd January, a disabled ‘Curlability’ competition, open to all, including beginners. See image below for more information.
For our other groups and classes, the return dates are as follows:

Finally David’s Cooking Classes are starting back 15th January. There is a waiting list for places but New Year New Activity! Why not put your name down and learn how to make a starter, main and dessert with our own cook who just happens to be blind? Contact Brenda for details.
