Forth Valley Sensory Centre
Our third and final craft workshop of the year, in partnership with Revive Falkirk will take place from 10am on Tuesday, 20th November.
This is a drop in session to 2pm although; we advise you to call and register interest. This is because the previous two have been a great success. Participants made bunting, used as part of our World War Sing-a-long with Provost Buchanan, and tote bags from recycled fabric.
David from Revive has been a real gem. Patient and understanding, a number of centre users have mentioned how good the classes have been:
“I am thinking of buying a sewing machine and as a blind person I never thought I’d say that”
“This is fantastic it’s about what you can do rather than can’t do”
“I love it, it gets me out of the house I would come every day if I could”
“More of it please”
“I enjoy making things and would love to do Christmas crafts”
The next craft workshop will be making Christmas items, for use at home, as gifts or for sale at our Winter Fair coming up on December 1st.
If you would be interested in taking part, contact Brenda at the centre on email or calling 01324 590 888.
