Forth Valley Sensory Centre
The Forth Valley Sensory Centre choir, also known as the ‘Sensory Singers’ raised an amazing £295 and fifteen pence with a performance at Tesco on Graham’s Road (Falkirk Retail Park) on 3rd December.
The fundraiser is one of two annual events planned, the next takes place at Asda in Falkirk Town Centre on 17th December, singing starts at 11am!
You can hear a live recording of the Tesco singing below but once again, shoppers were amazed by the high quality and loved giving the Guide Dogs a wee clap too!
Fundraising Manager, Martin Allen said:
“These are always great events. It puts you in the festive spirit and we even had one person asking if it was a tape they were that good. As always we are grateful to Elaine and her team at Tescon for accomodating us and getting into the spirit by coming along to listen and see the performance.
“We also need to thank our choir members and leader Catriona, for giving up their time to help us raise such a great amount and the public who gave so generously.”
The Sensory Singers meet fortnightly on Monday. The group is open to anyone who enjoys singing traditional and popular songs. There are no auditions, a desire to join in and have fun is all that is required!
